French Club The purpose of the French Club is to promote interest in France and the study of French. This year, LE CIRCLE FRANCAlS , went on a fall field trip to Ste. Genevieve and St. Louis, Kathy Neat, Marla Bass, Lisa Gilpin, Christi Davis, Sisi Alborg, Nadine Olsen, Marit Inge- Missouri where they visited a french colony, the Old Cathedral, and the St. Louis Art Mu- seum. The club made money by selling French candy and Embaraisse-Moi , T-shirts. Members participated in the International Dinner and performed the skit, L'lle de Gilli- gan . A spring trip to Chicago was one of the highlights of the year, with visits to a French restaurant and a French cultural event. Club members take field trips to productions at colleges and also attend the Illinois High School Theatre Festival held annually. X T' 'Wah -J-it-. 1 The faculty diners club was founded this year as an interdisciplinary organization whose avowed purpose is to strengthen a dwindling faculty morale as well as appetite. Members of the Art, English, and Special Ed. Departments meet each Friday on the first lunch shift to participate in an act of communion with the aid of creative cuisine and crude conversation.
