I if A CADET DEFENDER made an unassisted tackle on the Buffalo quarterback. Tecams prepare for varsity competition The Raider squad finished the season with four wins and two defeats. The South High B team was led by the running of Rocky Dorsett and Terry North. Quarterbacking by Tom 1rland and great pass receiving by Paul Hartsel teamed with the running game to beat West, Kapaun, Southeast, and North. The Cadet gridders completed their season with a record of no wins, six losses, and one tie. Seven Cadets received the 6'Monster award for their out- standing individual performance during the season. Qmsarstiaail Varsity squad led by isclocson, woddles After winning the first three games, the Colonels completed their season with a 5-11 record. The Reb season was disappointing, having beaten only Heights, Carroll, Parsons, and North. In city league standings, the Colo- nels tied with North for sixth place with a 4--10 city record. Leading Colonel scorers were Gerald Isaacson, capturing sixth place scoring honors in the city with a 13.2 average, and George Waddles who captured ninth place hon- ors with a 12.2 average. At the West High Invita- tional the Colonels placed fifth losing to Kapaun in the opener and soundly defeating Anthony in the consolation bracket. Eight players received letters, and Gerald Isaacson was voted the most inspirational player.
