Sophomores Elect All-Girl Officers for Year TOP. Sophomore Cheerleaders: Arlene Pyche. Joni Book. Connie Sorbell. Maythee Jensen, Janelle Bourne. Kathy Erickson and Sarah Bailey. ABOVE. Maythee Jensen. Vice President: Debbie Franzen. President: and Cathy Wagner; Secretary-Treasurer Sophomores. Class of 1975. had a busy year with many events and money earning projects. The year started with the entire class trying to collect the largest ball of string in the world, but they didn't quite make it. They sponsored a talent show during Sno-Daze. which was very successful, according to Debbie Franzen. sophomore class President. They sold candy canes at Christmas and candy hearts for Valentine's Day to earn money for the class treasury, the candy canes being the best sale of the year. All girl officers were elected by the class in October following a campaign with posters, buttons, and speeches by the candidates. The results were; Debbie Franzen. President; Maythee Jensen. Vice President; and Cathy Wagner. Secretary-Treasurer. Something new this year was the setting up of correspondence with other sophomore classes in the city to exchange ideas and perhaps visit schools to spread information. 12
