The times I didn ' t think I could make it and all the good times. I will remember .ill my special friends in Calculus, jnd in Physics. The many teachers who ' s patience I tried many a time, the friends who I laughed and cried with but most of all, best friend in the world, Jesus Christ!! 1986-87 rocks! Larry Lopez . . . All the crazy times I spent in gymnastics, especially when I ate it. Being in J. V. Cheer, all the fun Alex and I had throughout the years. All mv friends who were there when I needed them; Thanks Xochilt and Gaby! Most of all, my sweetheart Art ( 70). I love you all!! J. V. Cheer ' 85- ' 86 and Gymnastics ' 85- ' 86 Marta Cortes Learning that love is a game and who taught me, the great illness of Nov. ' 86. My weakness for blondes with problems, investi- gative reporting, and creative deduction. My mentor and friend, D. Larson. Thanks guys, goodbye Sampson. James Wedgeworth . . . The tears, the smiles, the friends gained and lost, the great teachers and coaches, and the volleyball team, but most of all, my Spice and how it feels to be all alone. Dawn Winkler (Noodles) The tons of homework I received, the eight months in the Aca- demic Decathlon with Rich, having nutrition with Murray, con- stantly practicing for tennis, and OF COURSE, my awesome friends, John, Jeff, James, Francisco, Clemente, and Brian. Thanks for being there and putting up with me. You guys are the best!! Jose Vidal All my wonderful friends that I met at S.G., also 8-30-83, the day I made it to Drill Team. Helen Rodriguez C O ' 87 The 18-8 victory over the Eagles and the Big Brawl after the game, the great times in Baseball and Basketball, and my God bless my sweethearts, Patty, Kathy, and Judie. David Machado . The Football Players, Varsity Cheer and the ninth grade, my best year. Mr. Callahan, who ' s been a close friend. Cordray, Ashley, Ryan, whom I ' ve always cared for. All my special teachers and my special friend Janette. Love you all! Veronica Molina All the special friends that made S.G. High so memorable. Grace, Ana, Maggie, Brenda, Angie, Lisa, etc. Thanks!! All the cruising in my Fiat, and last but surely not least, my sweetheart Juan C, love you always. Letty Morales . My best friend Norma Ramirez. All the partying we got away with and crazy trips we made. My school years wouldn ' t be the way they were if it weren ' t for all my friends on all three tracks. Norma, thanks for being there! Mary Rodriguez . . . My ninth and tenth grade had with two very special friends, Trini Z., Gail V. And also, I will remember the sad and happy occasions I had with my close friends, Sandra B., Sonia Dā€ž Martha G, and others I have met in these four years. And the days Lucia V. and I spent laughing. Sharon M. Perez I will remember my best friend Mary Rodriguez and the great I WILL REMEMBER times we spent together sharing secrets. All the partying and good times with (Mary, Cynthia, Lilian, Diane, Irene, Maria) and especial- ly my babe Rudy, who made my senior year extra special. Norma Ramirez The day my friends and I went to Sequoia and spent four days up there. I will remember the day I first set eyes on Isela Vasquez and fell in love with her, and of course my brother Chris and the Gardea Twins. Ralph Puente The crazy time at Hollydale Park with Froggy, all the times that Mari and I spent with my good friend Ponch, the nice deans office bench, Prom night ' 86 with my friends. My friends Ernestina, Irma, Leslie, and Mari, I love you all. Let ' s keep on. Charlene Adame AH of my straight A report cards, yeah, all eight of them!! And especially Freddie ' s parties. Ruben Rios The good and sad times I shared at S.G.H.S. with my crazy and wonderful friends Mike, Marvin, Lorie, Lucy, Lupe, and Margaret, thanks for everything!! You guys are the greatest! Adriana Ramirez My special friends, Selene, Emilie, Eun, Jose, Frank, Jim, Mr. B (cottage cheese), the fun (ha! ha! ha!) in Leadership and our multi- purpose excuse- ' We ' re in Leadership . Practice with Varsity Cheer and Michele. Rosie and all those that I forgot to mention, love you all!! Elizabeth Carriedo (Lys) All the special times I spent with my best friends, William and Jesse I wish them the best of luck! Mario Matute . . . My friend Christine, whom I will never forget. Evelyn, Viany, Ruth, Claudia, Gloria and our 1-10 rating at Hamilton. Aris, Gaby, Marisela, Ruth, Viany, and Claudia at St. Francis and never getting in on time. Our pitching at lunch time. Carlos, thanks for being there when I was hurting. Mike, I love you for making my senior year memorable. I ' ll never stop loving you! Maria Hernandez All my friends, especially Robert, Jorge, and Sylvia and of course, my best friend Kelly. I love you all. My coaches and the Basketball, Volleyball, and Track teams. Mr. Lappin, Mr. Callahan, and Mrs. Breskin. Thanx S.G.H.S. Varsity B-Ball 21 Loretta George All of my good friends: Robert, Jorge, Sylvia, and especially Loretta. Thanks for all the good times. Thanks for putting up with me. I love you all, you are great friends! I will alwavs remember the Volleyball ( 12), Basketball, and Track teams-STA Y COOL! Kelly Bartholomew C O ' 87 The crazy times in cheer. Going to camp ' 86- ' 87, winning the Spirit Stick and Varsity Cheer winning the Superior Trophy, plus all the times we got in trouble. My buddies Michele and Marta and all we ' ve been through. Love you guys! All those football games and gymnastics ' 83- ' 86, especially going to city finals. All of my Track and Cross Country meets, the wild bus rides, the butterflies I ' d get before each event, the mile relays, the crazy wor- kouts we ' d get and my favorite coaches, Ashley and Guynn. The crazy but fun football games and the crowd of ' 87. All of my buddies (no names ' cause you know who you are!). And that special friend that was always there for me when I needed her the most, thanks Sabina! And of course, my sister Clara. Xochilt Jimenez All the fun times I spent with my friends, the friends who always had an ear to talk to. The Physics headaches, my last football game against Bell (18-8), all the coaches, teachers, Rudy ' s touchdown. Paul Pierson The good and bad times at S.C., 1-15-86, Whitty, Abe, Mr. T and A.Y.V. Anthony Araujo ...My VERY BEST FRIENDS Michele, Maria, and Vicky. The gang at the happening table and our so-called name, that night at the pier with that Special guy. Patty Lopez All the partying and flirting and the crazy things I did with all my wild and crazy friends: Yvonne, Lori, Sonia, Aide and Alma. Josie Robles . . . My art class with Mr. Douglas, thanks for the advice to say No! , my best friend Monica and Cindy for making my senior year of ' 87 special. Later days Thelma and Araceli! Piedad Garcia My best friends Manny and Ruth. All the football games, my homes Piedad babes, it ' s been nice knowing you all those years! This year has been special because of my sister being with me. A big thanks to Mr. Faris and Mr. Farber! Cindy Toriz My senior year and the times I spent with Anne. I ' ll especially remember my crazy Calculus class — Brian ' s questions, Mario ' s watch, and Linda ' s comments. Clemen te Belt ran Going to metal concerts with my friends, seeing Stryper on 1-3- 87, dressing up as Robert Sweet for Halloween and getting called a bumblebee, the printshop gang, four years in the Ram Band - 3-12- 86, doing the Rambler practically single-handedly as a senior, Larry, Eddie, and John, and especially my best friends Kim, Polly, and Suelyn. Linda Golden Another year, another end, never forget my best friends-Fash- ions, Candi, Courage, and Che ow too, God bless you all, I ' ll really miss you. The guys, the fads, the style in S.G.H., I ' m leaving with a grin. Elsa Enciso The fun times I had in school with my friends. Also, the time Cindy and I tried to cheat with sign language in our English class. And especially, when Mr. Lappin took my radio and never gave it back to me! Peter Sinishtaj ' 87 All my teachers at South Gate High and my dear friends, Brenda, Marisela, Marie and Rosa. Thank you all for caring. Norma Reyes The days I wondered what in the world made me get myself into Physics class! But most of all, I will remember the great times and the troubles I shared with my friends. Special thanks to my best friends and great teachers. Brenda Ruiz All of my friends and all of those whom 1 met in my high school years. Cesar, Hector, remember the crazy times at Griffith? My girl- friend Sandra who understood me through the crazy things I did. All the guys and girls whom I met, I will remember you all. Jose Juan Pech . Kim Taylor I all the times in Band and all the crazy BAR-BQ ' s we had, and most of all, my special senior year made possible by my girlfriend. Jeff Fitchett .
