Girls' Cross Country The 1984 Girls' Cross Country Team, with a 7-2 record, captured the All-Valley Title and placed third in Housatonic League competition. The Most Valuable Player Award went to Wendy Plebang Kathy Nicewicz and Kristen Sheridan received the Sportsmanship Award, Carolyn Firgau, the Scholar-Athlete Award, and Sue Ludwig, the Coaches' Award for Excellence. The William Patrick Memorial Scholarship was given to joanne Lloyd. jeanette Mondi was awarded the Gaelette Sports Club Scholar- ship. Named to the All- Valley Team were Sue Ludwig, joanne Lloyd, Patty Rivera, Kathy Gildea, and Mindy Fiscus. Sue Ludwig was also named to the All-Housaronic League second team. Captains selected for the 1985 season were Pam Burns and Mindy Fiscus. mil That's right, I'm bad, states Wendy Pleban. . Debbie Fuller looks surprised at the lead Pam Burns has gained. By using her new spring-soled sneakers, jeanette Mondi successfully pulls ahead of the pack.

Boys' Cross Country The Boys' Cross Country Team Hnished its season with a 6-6 record, despite a high number of injuries. The Most Valuable Player Award went to Gregg Smith, who made the All-Housatonic, All-Valley, and All-County Cross Country Teams.
