Tom Johnston was elected Prestdent Sally Wxseheart Vxce President and Marilyn Wtlson Secretary Treasurer It was declded wnh the help of Mrs Steele our sponsor that our meetings would be held on the flrst and thtrd Wednesdays of each month The purposes of the organlzation are to provtde assembly programs to learn more about play productions to learn the essentials of public speakmg and to have fun whlle accompltshing these goals Our speech contest entries mcluded Beverly Sprague Tom Johnston Dave Phelps Carole Adams Marilyn Wllson and Bob Johnston Of three one act plays I Shall Be Wamng DarkStar and Winter Sunset Dark Star was chosen by vote to represent us in the Dramattcs Festival It starred Ann Meyer Dxane Lrch Bob Living ston, Victor Elbert, Jill Wallace, Gloria Funk, and Evelyn Morrison.
