'2S'ig14eis fff Prvgrcs , . . . This year Rockmont has leaped forward in every area of academic, student, and administrative activity. A new relationship with Colorado State College and Colorado State University now makes it possible for deserving students to do graduate study in those institutions after taking their B.A. from Rockmont College. Changes have also taken place in the administration. Mr. Donald Kopecky was promoted to the Dean of Faculty posi- tion, and Mr. John Roscoe moved up to be the Dean of stu- dents. This year flight training was incorporated in the formal curriculum at Rockmont and covers formal classroom instruc- tion as well as actual flight training. Mr. Bob Matthews, a new teacher, assists Mr. Hugh Chance and Mr. John Roscoe as both the flight and the electronics program expand. Looking around campus we see a great change in the stu- dent activities. The students now have a new paved recrea- tion center, for basketball, volleyball, and tennis. Steel basketball goals have been added. A newly instituted Christian Service Program now requires each student to participate in some area of formal Christian Activity, such as working in Child Evangelism, Sunday School Teaching, music in churches, preaching, and etc. This year has truly shown us Signets of Progress . . . 7
