From the time we entered Richmond Hill High School in February 1956 until our long awaited graduation, our class has made many contributions to the sounds of the school. In our Freshman year at the Annex Charles Bernard and Charlotte Graifeo, joined the orchestra playing in concerts during the four years. Among the Boosters, several voices from our class could be heard cheering at games. Our classmates sang at the Spring Concert. Our advance to the Main Building brought many new and exciting sounds to our ears. Many sounds from our gym were made by Margaret Bauer, Helen Fabel, Judy Krasnow and Pat Lawton, who became gym leaders. Helen Fabel was accepted as a member of Dolphins. In the male section of our class Ed Petrovits made us duly proud by becoming one of the stars of Richmond Hillls five. Junior year brought forth the scholastic ability of our class. Phoebe Nalaboff, Judy Krasnow and Helen Fabel were inducted into Senior Arista. Because of her athletic skill, Margaret Bauer joined the ranks of Girls' Varsity. Many cheers were raised for George Rodriguez, who led our soccer team in scoring with seven goals. Hard as it was to believe we entered our Senior year. We elected Helen Fabel, presi- dent, and Lois Burns, vice-president, to lead our class. One of the highlights of our four years was the production of The King and I. The applause rang out for George Rodriquez, who portrayed the King. Charles Terpenning and Tamara Jancewycz were also in the cast. Scholar Margaret Bauer was admitted to the Secretarial Honor Society. Lois Burns received the Delta Pi Epsilon typing award. Congratulations were extended to Frank Stoepel, Captain of the Richmond Hill Team, who was named to the All-Queens Soccer Team. During the past four years in Richmond Hill High School, we have acquired many fond memories which we shall take with us when we graduate and shall hold forever.
