Cougars Finish With 8-2 Season The Reid Ross Footliall toam had quite a re vai ding season. Using a cast of very few seniors and quite a few underclassmen, the Cougars had a record of 8-2, but failed to reach the play offs. The cougars playoff hopes were ended by Pine Forest in the last game of the year by the score of 35-7. A record crowd of about 8,000 people were on hand to witness the game. Six players were honored on the All-Conference team. They were Craig Brown- ing, Eric Dawson, Bill Pinkney, Pat Pope, Carl Locus, and Jim McDaniel.
