Talrugic Starting the school year of '57 - '58, Mr. Nelson, new to the vocal music department, soon gained favor with the students because of his thoroughness in vocal music methods. The first concert was our annual Christmas program entitled A Winter Concert. Some of the selections by the Chorus and Girls' Glee were, Holiday Song, White Christmas, Silver Bells, The Holly and the Ivy, The Christmas Song, O Little Town of Bethlehem, and Silent Night. One of the big events during the year was the winter formal, the Silver Swirl. The theme for the - evening was Silver Bells.' The music was under the direction of Del Anderson and his band.
