The new Cardettes worked hard all sum- mer, practicing two or three times a week from 6:30 to 7:30 a.m. After school began, the 'Cardettes prac- ticed every other day to perfect their performances at home football and basketball games. They held a Hallo- The 1971-72 Cardettes were-Flow 1:'.,Patty Gallagher, Patti Witte. 2: Jennifer Judy, Vicki Bennett, Kris Uhlig, Shelley Smith, Sue Higgins, Terri Hernandez. 3: Francie Yennie, Judy Cooper, Lisa Barnett, Sue Speck, Gwen Norton, Dee Crawford, Cathy Wiltfong. 4: Phyllis Winn, Liz Felici, Jeannie Mathews, Patty Schmid, Con- nie Pickett, Ann Barnes, Gail Hoeppner. 5: Susan Piburn, Debbie 1 ween bake sale and sold candy to purchase props and accessories. Cardettes also participatedin local pa- rades, clinics, and other community functions..On No- vember 20 the team was involved in an A.S.D.T.A. clinic at Glenwood lVlanor. Their hard work and enthusiasm paid off as they earned a first place ribbon!
