the Prom. In between the PSAT's and other tests that would help determine our future, we decided on the theme for our Prom. The gym was decorated with enthusiasm and soon the evening in which we were Search- ing So Long was upon us. We shed our everyday jeans, and in formal attire, we entered the magical world. The plant formed a bud, and in the warmth of the sun, the flower began to open. We suddenly realized we were Seniors, and the past three years had gone by faster than it seemed. This was the year of Senior privileges. Finally we didn't have to sit through boring study halls any more. Our bonfire went over big, and for those who spent the night sleeping out, it also went over cold. One of the highlights was our Senior Variety Show which kept us entertained, if not in hysterics. Our senior trip to Tamiment, Pa. will always be remembered. And last, but not least, our Senior Ball was a special night with memories we will never forget. The rose is in full bloom now, and its splendor and beauty is most noticable. four years are behind us, but they will never be forgotten for in our minds and hearts we will think of the good times we've shared, the friend- ships we've formed, and the knowledge we've learned. The door is opening and from graduation we will pass into a new life. As our nation celebrates 200 years of freedom and independence, we the class of 1976 look ahead to the challenge of tomorrow. And strengthened by our heritage we will accept with courage the new world to come. The years were enlightening, and perhaps before we pass through the doors, we may pause a few moments to reflect, and then continue on. 123
