After boys are voted in, initiation is held for them. The annual Sports Banquet is one of the highlights of the year for these boys. The boys and their parents are invited to attend this banquet. This banquet is always a big success. This club is one of the most active organizations at Park Hill. Los Conquistadores was organized in 1952 by Mrs. L. S. Robbins, club spon- sor. The purpose is to promote a better un- derstanding of Hispanic countries, people, language, and culture. The club initiated the Foreign Exchange Student Program this year, raising some of the money by giving the Valentine Dance and a skating party. The highlight of the year is always the Pan- Arnerican Fiesta in April. Other activities are trips to Mexican restaurants and movies and to K. U. for Cervantes Day.
