march up to this one and give her the same ultimatum would be sacrificing the child on the altar of my convictions, and I don't think that this is always fair. I think we're admonished in the Spirit of Prophecy that we have few rules, but we enforce these rules, and see that they're carried out. And I think that this is the thing that we would like to do as far as our handbook is concerned. If we must have rules, they must be few, they must be well-studied, and have definite meaning, so that when we ask a student to do it, we have a reason for it. As far as what I think of rulesg I think that these are necessary. There are always going to be rules, all through life. We start out as a little infant with cer- tain rules. A baby eats at a cer- tain time, and it goes to sleep, and it grows by nature's rules. There's certain regulations that Some see behavioral science as a non-science Mother Nature tunes to all of our lives. We get security by living within a borderline, so to speak, and particularly Chris- tians. With the regulation of our new dress policy, the pantssuits for instance, we've asked the girls to keep this in good form, for their sake and for the image of the school. What we're trying to do is project an image of Christian wowanhood. And they are the women that we are us- ing to project this image to the world. DL: IVlr. Zbaraschuk, on what basis do you select your ma- terial for your classes? Mr. Zbaraschuk: Well, the most important thing that I can see after one gets around the prob- lem of whether one is teaching a general education course or a period literature course has to do with imagination.
