Mem- bership to this society is reserved for those very capable students who have shown outstanding qualities of charac- ter, leadership, service, and scholarship. The National Honor Society is sponsored by the Na- tional Association of Secondary School Principals in schools throughout the nation. Service to the school and community is emphasized in the society's various projects throughout the year.

Future Business Leaders 0 America Members of the F.B.L.A. learn how to com- pete honorably with their colleagues on the lo- cal, state, and national levels, how to engage in individual and group business enterprises, how to hold oflice and direct the affairs of the group, and how to work with representatives of other student organizations. F.B.L.A. provides an opportunity to travel to state and national conventions and con- ferences, to visit other chapter and business and industrial enterprises, and to engage in close contact with successful businessmen and women. Future Teachers of America The Future Teachers of America Chapter of Norview High School is an active service orga- nization, consisting of 30 students. Once a year membership is open to sophomores, ju- niors, and seniors.
