Facing the challenges of the be- ginning year at Northfield was the first task of the seventh graders. The 130 members of the class of 79 elected both cheerleaders and offi- cers in the fall. Their class party in May featured a rock group composed of three members of their own class the eighth grade. One seventh grader, Lisa Beals, was recognized at the annual Honor Night for making all A ' s.
