Earlier in the spring 80 girls tried out for Mam'selles, but 27 Mutts made this specially selected group. They and the 16 veterans then learned the pain and hard work of summer practices. mln order to have a good practice, you must get right to work, strive to accom- plish daily goals, and most im- portant, keep everyoneis atten- tionf' Captain Holly Metzger said. All of the practices led to carefully planned perfor- mances. It makes me feel so good to know I'm entertaining a large crowd and hopefully giving them a good feeling in- side, too, Senior Kaye Rice said.
