CARROLL DIRECTS JUNIOR VARSITY FOOTBALL The 1981 edition of the North Football is a numbers game. Coach Carroll deserves much Brunswick junior varsity football squad didn't have a winning season, but they did exhibitquite a bit of hustle and spirit. Head coach Clyde Carroll put the team together in September after the varsity squad had been practicing since August. The team was lean in numbers. Pictured on the far right is junior varsity coach Clyde Carroll. His drive and enthusiasm was an inspiration to the team. On the immediate right is the team in an afternoon practice session. Pictured on the right is the 1981 jayvee football team. The team had a lot of heart and loved to play the game with reckless abandon. These players will be future varsity standouts. It takes a lot of people to produce a quality and winning program. The 1981 junior varsity team may have been lean in numbers, but they were Still the One in desire and dedication. Even when the games were out of reach, the Baby Scorps were giving 110 per cent. credit in directing this year's junior varsity. When he organized the team, coach Carroll knew it would not be a championship team because of the numbers factor. That didn't deter him from attempting to put a representative team on the field. To Carroll's credit, the JV's improved.
