Nurse's Aides The Nurseis Aide program is a part of the Girls League and is conducted by volunteers. These girls give up one afternoon a Week to help the nurses at Milton Hospital. They do such things as change the water, bring gifts to the patients, and serve dinner. Their most rewarding chore is adding a bit of sun- ny cheer to their patients. This program is one of the most important functions of the Girls League and of Milton High. Girls League More than fifty-five years ago the Girls League was founded. Its purpose was to further interest in civic affairs and in school. There are not only many affairs to further these interests, but also many af- fairs to earn money for the scholarship fund. The scholarship fund has grown because of the girls' selling BI.H.S. pencils and pins and because of the Girls League Dances. The Girls League also performs many civic duties. Among them is the Nurseis Aide program. GIRLS LEAGUE nl. Sooper, J. Schcffler, Cummings, D. Leon, Mantica, S. Dempsey. Second row: M. Cohen, Burbank, M. Schnaper, First row: K.
