Cheerleaders C 'I 2-HIT it or Miss? THE MYTH: Cheerleaders jump around, yell a lot, and are basically obnoxious. THE TRUTH: Cheerleaders jump around, yell a lot, and do their job. So quit complaining. The importance of these twelve enthusiastic girls to the school lies not in their looks, but in their spirit. They remind one of the grade school music instructor who made one dance, clap, yell, and best of all, made one laugh. They play games which make our games easier to play. Cheerleaders have guts.
