A.F.S. The A.F.S. chapter at Memorial com- pleted another year of helping to pro- mote a better understanding of the na- tions of the world. The activities began in late August when they welcomed Mer- cedes Abalos ot Chile and Gaye Bulut ot Turkey, Memorial's A.F.S. students. The chapter assisted the Student Council with the candy sales which will finance next year's foreign exchange program. ln late January they welcomed back Sandy Buz- zalini who was a participant in the Ameri- cans Abroad program. This year's officers were Rhonda Green- berg, President, Janey Lunsford, Vice- President, Mary Cook, Secretary-Treasur- er, and Mrs. Mary Lou Bulloch, sponsor. Mercedes Abalos and Gaye Bulut show enthusiasm at a basketball game.

Medicol Club The Medical Club is open to any stu- dent interested in a career in medicine or biology. This year the club heard speakers from several medical professions. These in- cluded plastic surgery, veterinary medi- cine, and rneclical technology. Several films were viewed and field trips to hos- pitals and Hissom Center were conducted. In addition, the Medical Club collaborated with the March of Dimes in filling its role as a service club as well as an educational organization. International Club The aims of International Club are to give students a better understanding of world situations and a chance to discuss them. It allows students to benefit from the experiences of speakers and to ex- press their views on controversial sub- iects. The club sponsored various speakers, such as foreign exchange students and prominent businessmen of Tulsa. They also sponsored two movies as a service to students of Memorial.
