MACHINE AGE YMBOLIC of machines and mechanical strength is the force with which small communities all over the United States have con- tributed to the national war effort. The Naval Supply Depot, the Red Cross, Air Raid VVardens, blood donors, airplane spotters, scrap drives, First Aid Classes, the Com- munity Chest, Civilian Defense VVorkers-all these things and peoples are a part of Mechanics- burg's contribution to the winning of the war. The part of which We are the most proud is the 'LRoll of Honor, containing names of many of Mechanicsburg High School's sons and daughters in the armed forces. l .
