Tech then played in the final game against Wilson, a team which had been heated by Tech in the regular season. But the season loss proved to give the Wilson team even more spirit to win, and they defeated Tech for the city championship. Tech then entered the Met- ropolitan Tournament against W-l,, and after a hard fought, well played game, the Trainers lost to the Generals 67 to 72 in one of the season's best games. I N-.L Baseball 44.-A ,L 1 The baseball team got off to a good start by winning four of the first six games. After that, the Tech men fell into a slump winning only two of the last seven games. The class of '53 took some power- ful hitters with them and this year's team doesn't promise to fare as well in the power department as could be expected.
