Brunstad JANUARY Back to school after our Christmas va- cation. T'is true, t'is pity, tiis pity, t'is true. Plans are being made for the coming C. Y. O. dance. The Freshmen entertained the rest of the high school with their annual party. The scheduled C. Y. O. dance took place. Now we know why the girls had their heads in the air. They were invited to the Catholic Women's Study Club. St. Aquinas took its second licking from McDonell as they lost , 32-15. More groans as the semi-final exams begin. Our winning streak continues as St. Felix falls, 20-10. Stanley cut in on our streak, but pride comes before the fall. Honor ribbons were distributed to the pupils receiving first and second Scho- lastic Honors. Al Priddy, famous animal trainer ad- dressed us on the subject Can Animals Think? What! Again? McDonell 34, St. Felix of Wabasha 13. The 1937 Iris Staff was elected. We welcome Sister Mary Filiona as she resumes her duties as principal of McDonell. Our pugilistic fellow student, Ambrose Meagher, merges as Golden Glove Champ at Eau Claire. Ned Revord and Dorothy Picotte, the Class photographers, have been busy snapping everything. St. Pats took us 26-21. Students from St. Johnls University' debated in the assembly. The Blue and White scourge swamped Holcombe, 33-12.
