Mrs. White—Dedicated . . . Loyal . . . Efficient . . . S. WHITE Mrs. White— When we say no one is indispensable, we do not, of course, include Mrs. White, who retires this year after many years of service as an educator. Words simply cannot describe her. You just have to be here to understand her contribution to Mathews High School, the students and teachers. Words like efficient, industrious, knowledgable, are synonymous with Mrs. White. Wherever she has taught, her name is spoken with pride and affection. There is something about her that is communica¬ ted best by these statements: You always know where she stands She is a completely dedicated person She is never too busy to help She goes beyond the second mile She is quick to recognize honest effort She has always known what to do, has known why and how and has done it. Endless¬ ly she has put her all into her work. People may come and go and time will alter, but there will never be another Mrs. White. Her place is secure, for it has been built on those lasting foundations like dedication, loyalty and efficiency. While missing her greatly, we wish her the happiness she so richly deserves.
