James P. Romeo, Principal Edwin A. Martinson. Superintendent The character of a dynamic educa- tional set-up requires dynamic leader- ship, and our two administrators have through the years demonstrated this positive approach. Both Mr. Edwin A. Martinson, our genial superintendent of schools, and Mr. James P. Romeo, our kind high school principal, have worked hard and long to effect the policies and the measures necessary to keep Marsh- field education at the top. We, the Sen- iors, wish to make permanent this re- cord of our appreciation for the dedica- tion to youth exhibited through action by these two outstanding, capable adminis- trators. SCHOOL COMMITTEE Schools do not function of themselves; schools need direction and understanding, The town of Marshfield in its wise choice of school committee personnel services the school system toward goals of high achievement with perception and responsibility. Fortunate indeed are the youth of the community who receive the benefits of the educational activities that go on because of the constructive under- standing of our school committee mem- bers. We, the members of the class of 1963, wish to express our gratitude for the many progressive and up-to-date educational experiences provided us dur- ing our school years in Marshfield.
