The team consists of 1 1 seniors and one freshman Among the four returning varsity players ore R. Akahoshi, D. Grbac, L. Honda, and N. Matsumoto. Among last year ' s JV players who have moved up to Varsity are M. fra- zier, L. Kaneko, A. Martin, L. Mar- tinez, and D. Senaha, pius an ad- dition of three new players, sen- iors D. Gofanda, K. Hua and freshman N. Morihiro. Coaching for varsity for the third straight year is Karen Maynard. The team is at a disadvantage this year since most of the players are rather short. Under the supervi- sion of Coach Polnner, the new coach, they were ex- pected to fulfill their expectations.
