All together she's enjoying her stay here in America and the school is happy to have her. AFS is active every year. Ther-e's always an interesting foreign exchange student who comes from abroad and who shares the lives of the students at school and as Americans with everyone. Plus students from Los Banos High School have a chance to go abroad and share in the lives or the people of other lands. The purpose of AFS is to promote its activities. The club has been going strong for twenty years and started as a division of the adult AFS. One of the fund-raising activities is bake sales, which can help support the worthwhile organization.
