Mary ' l irner is an assistant librarian at Lincoln. Freddye Ashford is an assistant librarian at LU. The Inman E. Page Library, which was built in 1948, houses over 90,000 volumes. The collection serves as reference material for the various departments in the Universitj ' , providing materials for study, research, and recreation. The library receives over 500 current periodicals. Many magazines and newspapers are kept on microfilm in the periodical room, which allows for more periodicals to be saved. The library, which is centrally located on campus, serves as the intellectual center of the University, giving students a place to do research and to study. Students make use of the main reading room to study.
