Girls Ensemble Girls Ensemble visited nursing homes, banquets, and a few churches. A Solo and Ensemble contest was held at Tacoma Community College. Lincoln's Girls Ensemble recieved a superior rating. Concert Chorale Concert Chorale has a busy schedule every year espe- cially before Christmas. Concert Chorale is a select group chosen by Mr. Schuchman. A few of their performances were for Parent's Night, Viewcrest Nursing Home, Thanksgiving Assembly, over radio stations KTNT and KTOY, Christmas Vespers Concert, Tahoma Grand- mother's Club, and the Christmas Assembly. These are just a sample of all the outstanding performances held for the 1972-73 school year. L 1 R it t j N : fi - I mi Q St X. 5 Home Economics Frying eggs to preparing delicious cakes by the boys, to gracious table settings and smartly tailored suits by the girls, pretty well sums up the homemaking skills gained in the Home Economics program. Mrs. Totten, head of the Home Economics Department had this to say, I think Home Ec is one of the most important fields a person can study because it prepares you for living in the future. Janice Everett had this to say about Tim Holt's famous cupcakes, It was fascinating, I've never seen a cupcake that had a 45 degree angle. Mrs. Scheels: I think the kids seem to be enjoying them- selves more this year because of the variety of foods that are being cooked.
