i This year is a new beginning for the class of 1985. Coming from Marcus where they attended as freshmen, LHS can be quite a new and challenging experience. Sophomores experience everything from walking in the wrong bathroom and being sold pep rally tickets by upperclassmen, to trying to find the fourth floor where you have been tolcl your class is located. Despite the confusion, the sophomore year can be described as one of the easiest and carefree years in high school. The students are in awe of everything around them. Sophomores are easily spot- ted in the crowded halls. When a girl is seen almost fainting when Joe Cool, a senior, says hello to her in the hall, that's a sophomore. Even though it can be difficult in the beginning, throughout the year everyone adjusts. The excitement of Homecoming, football games, and pep rallies explains the chaotic behavior of the students.
