What are you doing?” “Come on boys, take him in.” The play, ARSENIC AND OLD LACE, is about two sweet little old ladies who porson lonely, old men to put them out of their misery, and with the help of their nephew, (who thinks he is Teddy Roosevelt), they bury the bodies in their basement. Their nephew, Mortimer Brewster, the only sane member of the family is torn between protecting his dear aunties and protecting society against them. “Bully, I shall prepare at once for the journey. “He’s so happy being Teddy Roosevelt.” 13
