Semor Class Hzstory The hlstory of the class of 1954 started many years ago It may have started as far back as 1942 In the fall of 1950 slx bashful glrls and three exclted boys enrolled at Las Mesltas Hlgh School as Freshmen L.1ttle dxd they realxze that they were responslble for such a great event ln hlstory as the class of 1954 These were the followlng Eva jarmlllo Angle Gurule Luella Garcla Mercedes ramlllo Dora Archuleta Fred Montoya Ehllene Roybal Max Ruybal and Pat Gallegos The followlng year four of our members of the class dropped out They were Mercedes Eva Luella and Pat 1952 brought us one new member Robert Gomez from Denver From nme members ln our Freshmen year we were now only three namely Emleene Roybal Fred 1VIontoya and Robert Gomez Class officials that year were presldent Elleene secretary Robert and treasurer Fred Class sponsor was Mlss Odlla Lobato 1952 there IS only one member left one Senlor Exleene Roybal After four years of hlgh school at Las Mesxtas and after havmg passed a varlety of experlences Ihave at last come to my fmal year of hlgh school Gxvlng thanks to my teachers for their help and guldance and to my frlends for thelr encouragement and companlonshlp lclose the hxstory of the class of 1954 I I 1 1 . 1 1 1 .
