On the bright, beautiful morning of April lb, 1936, a bundle ol' about eight and a halt' pounds blessed the farm home of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Krubeck. It was a baby gzrl who was christened as Marzlyn Patritria, now shortened to just Pat. At the bright age of 6, she began to attend school in Lyon Township unttl her parents and she went to the West Coast where she finished the sexenth grade. is Coming back they moved to Kensal, where Pat finish- ed her twelve wonderful years of education, Having a pleasing smile. she is active in school. church and other activities. Patty played basketball all through hi gh school. She is a member of the glee 'J club, of the school band, and the pep club. In her junior and senior year, she played an active part in the plays, Ginger Snaps Back and Saved by the Belle respectively, She is a member of C. Y.O. and the church choir. ln her leisure time, she enjoys going to movies. Her favorite actor is Stewart Granger, while her fa- vorite actress 15 Ann Blyth. Playing her accordian is her most enjoyable pas- time. With such a pleasing personality, we are sure that Marilyn will have a wonderful future in her secretary C3I'C ?I'. MARILYN KRUBECK JANICE NEVA On May 2, 1936, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Neva Jr. were N. blessed with a bouncing baby girl. This blonde. blue- 121 eyed bundle of joy was christened Janice Louise. W 'i AFB, She started her education in a little white school A iv J' ,QW F house not tar from her home. 3 ' ' , While Janice was in high school, she took part in 2-:I i I tv rl fg the pep club, sang in the chorus and was a member V ' of the band. S, x if-5 E '. Janice enjoys taking part in all sports, especially Y X gl volley ball. ' She held several positions in her class, such as sec- 7 '-58' r ,Q V, retary while a junior, and vice-president in her senior I ,gain ri- U ' . year. X Nh Janice was a member of the play cast of the junior play Ginger Snaps Back, and the senior play Sax ed 1 bythe Belle. Janice has been a member of the C. Y.O. She also sings in the church choir. Her favorite actress is Ann Blyth and actor, Dennis 'Y Day. . She enJoys housekeeping and we know she will make a good wife for someone. He was christened Haakon Ekren Jr. , but at an early age he was tagged with the nick- name, Buffa. Buffa started Kensal grade school at the age of six, completing eight grades, and then going on to high school. When he was a freshman he was a king can- didate to the carnival. Buffa played basketball durin tl his first three years of high school. In his junior year Buffa played in the class play, Ginger Snaps Balk, and during his senior year, Saved by the Belle. Buffa has a very clever sense of humor which ever y- one enjoys and will surely miss in the years to come. He likes to do anything that's fun. He claims that his favorite food is calf liver, whith we just c'an't imagine, His favorite movie is Southern Yankee and says that he thinks Jane Powell and Rock Hudson are tops when it comes to movie stars. Shooting pool is his favorite pastime. He claims that his ambition is to live to be one-hundred, and in all wish him all of the luck in the world. of his future endeavors we HAAKON EKREN On Febrary ZO. 1936. there was quite a commotion at the Lambrecht home. Little Gordy was born. During the first five years of his childhood he would sit and watch the trains and feed his rhickens. When Gordy was six he started grade school in Kensal, and in 1950 he started high school at the same place. Gordy is very active in sports and is a star in basket- ball. He loves to play pool and read comic books. Gordon was king candidate for his class in his sopho- more year and in his senior year he was a representa- tive to the Student Council. Gordy has been a member of MYF for the past six years. He took part in the class plays when he was a junior and also when he was a senior. Gordy's great interest in sports led to his election as sports editor of the Clarion when he was a junior. Gordy's favorites are: Actress---Debbie Reynoldsg actor---James Stewartg food---roast beef: pastime--. playing poolg and ambition---go to college.
