22 miss j.e.b. stuart contest The Miss J .E.B. Stuart Contest combined talent and beauty to come up with a totally new format. While the 73 beauties were presented, and during the judges' eliminations, the musical Shelly Burditt, Miss J.E.B. Stuart, 1969 and dancing abilities of some of Stuarts other students were demonstrated. The Stuart Business Club, sponsor for the Contest, also asked the FHA to stage its annual fashion show. The highlight of the evening was the crowning of Miss J.E.B. Stuart of 1968, Shelly Burditt, by Georgina Miskell, last year's winner. Sophomores Dru Windham and Debby Barnes placed lst and 3rd runners-up respectively while Robin Dennis was second runner-up. Georgina Miskell, Miss J.E.B. Stuart, 1968, crowns Shelly Burditt.

The sensation of winter- A biting wind upon your cheek, The tingle of a snowball dropped down your back, snowball dance The- S.C.A. sponsored Snowball Dance took on a totally new face as it switched its mood from semi- formal to informal and its music from rock to psychedelic. The couples attending the dance provided the first changeg the Greasy Pigs took care of the other. Mysteriously, however, the band's plug jumped from its socket in the middle of the dance Ca little too much rhythm, perhaps?J and there was no psyching- out until it could be found and re-inserted into the wall. Centered around its perpetual Christmas theme, the dance created its own excitement. Michele and Calvin in action.
