FREDERICK Mr. Frederick ' s acting ability is well-known and his electrifying delivery of I ' m gonna crucify you, boy, carries such conviction that ' many a student trembled at the contemplation of such an act. His com- ment, Take an ' F ' for the day , appears to cause a similar effect. Beneath this Mr. Frederick is a sin- cere person who likes and respects his students. This respect is returned by students who say that they al- ways know where they stand with him. Mr. Frederick has been at I.S.B. for the past six years and is a member of the Science Departmant. Mr. Frederick ' s interest in education is such that his doctorlal work is in this field. His studies took him to Nigeria, last summer, where he examined the effects of the development programme upon Nigerian students. He hopes to be awarded his doctorate in the near future. Mr. Frederick ' s is renown for his elegant appear- ance and he enjoys ' doing his own thing ' , part of which was acknowledged when he performed in ' The Death of Bessie Smith ' , presented by the English Comedy Club. DEDICATION Mrs. Relsman ' s students will long remember her use of such scientific terms as ' Water ' , (N.Y. style), ' O.K. ' , ' Oh really ' and ' All right ' , which sprang from her lips as she roamed the labs, clasping numerous beakers and test- tubes. Mrs. Reisman admits that probably the most enjoyable aspect of her teaching career at I.S.B. has been the inter- change of Ideas between herself and her students while pursuing an elusive biological specimen. Her fondness for living things is well-known even to the point of sharing her bath with three ducks! We wonder whether seals will be In her ' tub ' when she moves to Saskatoon, Canada, later this year. The school will lose a special person when Mrs. Reisman leaves I.S.B. this June, but who could forget the laughing eyes behind huge round spectacles?? MRS. B. REISMAN Mr. W. Schumacher.
