The Power of the Green and Gold . . . When the students at Horizon became more active in the growth of the school, it gave ev- eryone mutual respect for one another. A feeling of belonging and caring for each other created a high level of spirit. Though the seniors had many decisions to make concerning their future fkeeping up grades and taking entrance examsj, they al- ways managed to be present at games, dances parties and other social affairs. Graduation night - the ultimate for any senior -- is to realize the past four years meant something to everyone they shared their time with. The Beauty of Horizon High School . . . Nineteen-hundred and eighty two has been a year of progress and changeg adjustments and additions. This was the year of the Huskies! The gathering of ex-Trojans and Matadors left many people longing for their home and old friends. It wasn't long before they real- ized Horizon was their new home, the home of the Huskies! As Horizon High School developed, the students, faculty and board created a Heritage for us all to be proud of. With the drastic increase in student popula- tion over the summer, many new faces brought plenty of new interests and involvements. 2 aggf
