1948 HAVILOOK Pagel5 1948 CLASS WILL We, the class of 1948 being of sound minds tyou've never seen such hard stuffl, strong bodies, and with full intentions of departing soon tschool, that isl, do hereby make, publish, cmd declare our last will and testament. Carl wills his ability to make a basket in the last few seconds of a game to his brother Hay. Ioanne Foust wills her ability to eat five ice cream bars each noon, with- out damage, to Leah Williamson. Emmit, who got his ability to be a Lone Wolf from Lafie Leeth, who got it from Bob Hough, wills the Wolf half to Doyle Breedlove. Emmit figures he will need a Loan himself. Marietta wills her ability to keep a steady stream of cars twhich maybe you don't know about? going between Paulding and the Zielke Ranch to Iva Lou Laukhuf. Tom wills his ability to get the Sportsmanship trophy at the Paulding County Tournament to any future Haviland basketball player. Helen leaves her typewriter and her one perfect paper to Ruth Kimmey. Dick wills his modest ways to Dick Groh. tYou better take them, Dick, you might need theml. Iody Hough wills her ability as a drum majorette to Ilo Belle Hofacker. Cloyd wills his ability to sleep in Rex's study hall to anybody who thinks a desk makes a comfortable bed. Gene wills his ability to look so natural in plays, that is when he is eating, to any future Senior who loves to eat.

Page16 HAVILOOK 948 CLASS PROPHECY Zooming into the future twenty years in our jet-propelled hot-rod, we stopped first at The Stork Club. It is now owned by Hot Lips Laukhuf. Hot Lips gave us a real treat on our visit. He played The Bells of St. Mary's on his Cornet. tHe was keeping in practice for the National Hog Calling Contest.l One of the latest sensations at The Stork Club was a fashion show, fea- turing Ioanne and Iody. They modeled The New Look in fur lined bathing suits for the coming Ice Age. Now on to Cuba. Here we found Cal Sinn working out the Chicago Cubs. He was their star player for six years, and for the last fourteen years has owned and managed them. Torn Myers was his bat boy super-colossal. He had paid enough income tax by 1967 to finish off the national debt. Off to Washington, D. C. Walking down Pennsylvania Avenue we met an enormous parade. It was the welcoming procession for Senator Mike Lehman. As we watched we saw a red motorcycle right in front of the Senator's car. On it was one of his body guards, Special Agent Zielke. Her greatest catch was that famous international spy, Keyhole Scarbrough. In Hollywood we dropped in on that ace director Dizzy Davidson. His latest discovery was a new leading man, a real tough guy, known to movie goers as Cloyd Bogart. We knew him as Cloyd Hockenberry, formerly of Scott. lt was rumored that Dizzy's Beverly Hills home had been bombed by the head chemist at the Tomlinson Chemical Company. That made the rounds and here we were over Havil-Sp-T-T. My! Havi- land's new hospital certainly comes in handy after crash landings.
