This year it was the elusive running of Bobby Kinkead and Cloud Keyes that did the trick. The Warriors sacrificed the services of two top fullbacks in gaining the victory. Ken Parks received a leg injury on the opening kickoff and was lost for the rest of the season. Donnie Dietz suffered a dislocated shoulder later in the game and was lost for several weeks. A jarring tackle by David Spivey set the Warriors in business on the Wildcats' 34. Bobby Kinkead picked up the last 11 on his first carry. Midway through the third quarter Kinkead scored the second touchdown of the night from two yards out. In the waning moments of the third quarter, jim Dur- bin, subbing for the injured Dietz, scored the final touchdown. g xr , ,X 2 ,X K 'eb ' 'f f Q A N ', 5 ' Eff-1 - if Q? - U X . The Warriors were definitely up for the game, and they scored first with Cloud Keyes blasting in from three yards. The score was set up by Paul Becton's thrilling punt return down the sidelines in the second period. Pine Bluff came fighting and scored just before the half on Gordon Norwood's aerials. They scored once more in the third period. Bobby Kinkead led both teams in rushing with 53 yards. The Warriors out-gained the Zebras in total offense 183 yards to 145 yards.
