Hustle And Bustle A long awaited event that occurs each Fall is the day when the firetrucks arrive and students in grades 3 thru 5 get to ride. There are times when high school and elementary get to- gether. .. such as during the annual poster contest at Halloween. Winners Richard Berg (8th grade) and Connie Bourdeau (3rd grade) are seen here. Future Teachers help grade teachers.

Elementary Day to day activities in the elemen- tary grades cover a divergence of pro- jects. Aside from the usual in-class studies, pupils get involved in special concerns. Of course a big favorite is an assem- bly. In the grades various classes group together for elaborate con- stumed pageants and plays. Naturally everyone who attends the shows is enthralled with the results. Aside from the routine day to day classes, there are times when Parent- conferences are held (below) and pupils especially enjoy those days. It means no school! It is a good time for teachers and parents to sit down and discuss a child's work and progress and to get and give tips on handling of different children. If there doesn't seem to be enough room in the move out into the hall.. . and set up additional case Mr. Watkin's group build individual study class, students can study spaces. In this carrels.

High School SCHOC CENTRA In high school there are numerous clubs and extracurricular activities to get involved with. To be a member of an Honor Society is a little special treat as attested to by the officers of the Junior Honor Society seen left. Like wise getting involved in sports, dramatics, creative writing etc. makes much of interesting afternoons long after the 8th period final bell has sounded. In our school community students seem to spend a great amount of their time active in such extra-curricular affairs. You can't keep a good man down and it appears you can't keep a senior still. At least this crew is busy sprucing up the senior room. 8 A stroll in the yard during lunch is time to re- flect on what is happening around us.
