Someone buys a newspaper and lets out an excited yell as a familiar face is seen on the front page. uMiss Sue Whorrall matches her designing of clothes with those of Paris.W It seems as though Sue has made herself a celebrity in the bbrld News. I saw the Cub Baseball game on T. V. last week and it sure was exciting Our old classmate,Ronald Schneider, was pitching. It's a sure bet that he will be another Babe Ruth. Someone got a letter from Shirley Boicken the other day saying she was very successful in her business career. She has beaten all typing records by typing 250 words a minute. Impossible you say, well, could be. Do you see that tall hotel building over there where that young man is waving to us from the top window? That's the rich playboy, Marvin Ekhoff He is glad that he decided to remain a bachelor, that way he can take all of the girls out. Oh! what a life that Marvin leads. You have all certainly heard of Stanley Schneider, President of the Farm Bureau. He leads the farmers and shows them improved ways to better their farming. The country will never starve as long as Stanley leads the farmers. Vernon Landry is Vice President of the Farm Bureau and helps Stanley a great deal. He is one of the richest farmers in Illinois. He takes a vacation every now and then on Mars to visit Tom. Remember that cute little blond with a slight touch of red in her hair? None other than Marge Williams. You can see Marge on any magazine cover. She is also famous for her new hair styles. Finally we have all settled down in Marge's luxurious hotel room to enjoy our favorite T. V. program, UI Love Lucyn, starring Lucy Gaylord as Lucy. She is a famous comedian and is quickly recognized by her big smile. By the way Warren has finally pursuaded Mary to help direct his play. when the evening is over they both have decided that ead1 one of their classmates could play a perfect role in the new play. 13

CLASS PROPHECY The producer of Metro Goldwyn Meyer has heard that the well-known Play Director, Mary Schroeder, is arriving at the airport in Los Angeles on Flight 39 T. W. A. from a tour of Europe. The producer, Warren Sievers, takes off in his huge Limousine and reaches his destination within ten minutes. He is very discouraged to find that the plane has not yet arrived. As he nervously paces the floor, he spots a familiar blond as she anxiously watches the runway for the delayed plane. She is none other than Marilyn Sievers, an important Airline Hostess. As they take turns looking through a telescope, they sight Flight 39 T. W. A. safely landed on Mars. What, who is that tall, handsome guy running out to meet them with his Ray Guns and all? He is a well-known scientist and mechanic on Mars. As he gives the plane the once over, he decides thatitb beyond repair so he informs Mary and the rest of the crew that he will have to take them back to earth in one of his own ships. Yes, this, as you may have guessed, is Tom Lord. Excited tension rises as Tom's ship glides in for a landing. Marilyn and Warren rush out to nbet them. As the four of them are about to leave the runway, they notice a huge vegetable truck pull up. Why it's Edgar Baker, and he tells us that he owns a huge trucking farm in Oregon and owns a string of markets all along the West Coast. Since Tom is visiting us from Mars, we decided to take him for a tour of Los Angeles. Hey gang, look, doesn't that tall, slim girl coming out of that office building look familiar? She sure does. It's Mary Bartruff. Mary has just told us that she has finally worked her way up to the top and is a private secretary to a large dressmaking firm. Since she earns Sth an hour, she saw no reason to get married for a while. She calls herself the ULucky Rich Girln from Eos Angeles. I2
