athy ight On March 9th Franklin students were honored to have Mrs. Cathy Rigby Mason and Dwight Stones. Cathy is a world famous gymnastic star who has been to the Olympics twice and was a silver medalist. Dwight Stones is a bronze medalist in the high jump. Also performing was Franklin's All City candidate in gymnastics, Mario Mora. iris' Weeh March 4-I0 The Girls' League sponsored a week of events which started with a cake bake contest. Un 'liuesday, seminars which covered such subjects as crime, modeling and feminine traits men respond to, were held afterschool. On Wednesday there was a breakfast for the representatives and throughout the day Franklin High School girls relieved their childhood by dressing up like Little Girls. Girls' Day in the community was held on Thursday in which six girls took over administrative positions in the school, twenty-one girls in the local elementary schools and twelve girls filling various government and business positions. George Sharp May 4th, is a day that the students of Franklin will long remember. Mr. Sharp has made the students at Franklin realize that Hypnosis can not only be fun, but also very interesting. Hypnosis shows the great control one person can have over another. The show was very entertaining and provided the student body with much laughter. We would like to thank Mr. Sharp for such an outstanding program.
