First row:'Mrs. Richards Shirley I Jeggen, Dowane Roundy, Lauvey'Goman, Janet Schimke, Janet Baxter: Yvonne Brotherton, Betty Dissmore, Marge Rothrock, Mr. Merriman- SOPHOMORES The sophomores had a hectic time initiating the freshman since the frosh class is so much larger than ours-but it was fun. The initiation dance and the return fresh-soph dance topped the fun list. We gained three new girls this year: Sharon Kronkite, Darlene Smith, Shirley Jensen. Two of these girls left before half the year was over. Fred Spears withdrew and enrolled in Wenatchee. Those turning out for basketball were: Ronnie Richards, Randy Auvil, Lynn Hanan, Duane Henson, and Raymond Wolf. The boys turning out for baseball were: Randy Auvil, Lynn Hanan, and Bobby Wolf. Our Sadie Hawkins dance, the high light of our activities, gave many a Daisy a run for her Abner. With the helpful advice of Mrs. Richards and Mr. Merriman our year has gone swiftly. And were are looking forward to coming back next fall for another year of Work and Egg.

Our initiation wasn't as horrible as we expected, although it was tough-it was a lot of fun.
