Mr. Harold Tietz, Mrs. Mary Cornelius, Miss Virginia Meile, Miss Emma Choudek, Mrs. Marcella Hammer, Mr. Charles Lombard Our occupational relations teachers, Mr. Tietz and Mrs. Hammer, are in charge ol the part. time work program. Besides instructing classes, they visit the otlices where the students work. In addition to teaching typing, Mrs. Cornelius is adviser of the Student Council Point System Committee. Shorthand, essential for secretarial work, is taught by Miss Meile. Miss Choudek teaches otlice training and secretarial practice to the girls who are preparing themselves for the business world. She issalso Mrs. Mary Blair, Mrs. Leila Rendernick adviser of the Ushers' Club. Bookkeeping is taught by Mr. Lombard. Mrs. Blair and Mrs. Rendernick, our school librarians, are very obliging in helping students find material tor themes and topics and also aid them in selecting books for recreational reading. This year Miss Andrews has had charge of the eighth, tenth, and twelfth grades, and Mr. Knox of the seventh, ninth, and eleventh. Mr. T E l X if Mr. Carl Manslie I I I Knox and Miss Andrews also administer aptitude, in- telligence, and special ability tests. Mr. Knox is also adviser ot the Edison Leadership Club and has charge of school lockers. Mr. Manslce, our chief engineer, is responsible for the physical condition of our building. Miss Todd, our visiting teacher, makes personal contacts between the home and the school. Our school nurse, Miss Johnson, takes core of students who become ill in school and excuses them if necessary, Miss Erma Todd, Miss Florence Johnson

Both American and world history are taught by Mrs. Tillotson. Miss Gould teaches community civics, which is required in ninth grade. Mr. Ahlstrom teaches world history. Miss Erb, adviser of the stair guards, teaches American history. Miss Simmons and Miss Peterson both teach classes in modern problems, which is required of all seniors. In addition to teaching community civics, Mrs. Curry is adviser of the cheer leaders. Mr. Gunborg teaches American history and community civics, and also is adviser of the stage crew and coach of -the hockey team. Mrs. Conover and Miss Barton are both instructors of physical education lor girls. Miss Barton and Mrs. Conover are in charge at the intramural and inter-scholastic sports program.
