STUDENT COUNCIL At the beginning of each semester, every home room chooses a student from that home room to represent them in the Student Council. These members gather every other Week in the small audi- torium to discuss and act upon the problems facing the student body. One of the most important tasks done by the Council for the past semester was that of being host to the 5A Conference held here at Eastern. At this time members of the other 5A schools met with members chosen from the Council to discuss and exchange ideas about our schools. During the Hrst semester of the past year, the Council was most capably led by the Fine leadership of Rudy Castellani. At the election held last winter, Roy Whitford was elected to lead the Council for the spring semester. Row 4: D. Denton, M. Cochrane. B. Hicks, M. Barr, J. Alcenius, B. Trefry, R. Briggs, J.
