CONKLI NG Governing- body of social fraternities on the campus, Inter- Fraternity Council prescribes rule and law to its members in the hectic matters of rushing, pledging and initiation. Member fraternities this year were Alpha Tau Omega, Sigma Alpha Epsilon and Tau Kappa Epsilon. Chi Delta, local, and Alpha Epsilon Pi, national, refrained from joining because of late organization. The council's tall traveling scholarship trophy was retired permanently this year hy Tan Kappa Epsilon, which won it the first three semesters it was offered. Rush parties of the four powerful professionals rival that of any social chapter, and the tangles that ensue fall to the lot of formal dance in the spring vies with the autumn Social Pan Hellenic formal in popularity. Punishing by minors and campuses, the board strictly enforces hour limits and other judiciary measures. The Dormitory formal is one of the foremost social events of the Winter season, and all other parties, dances and entertain- ments fall to the lot of the board and its social chairman.
