DEDICATIGN To DR. SAIXIUEL WILKINS, SR., we respectfully dedicate this years edition of YELLOW JACKET. It was he that brought many of us to life and still many more of our parents-who has taken care of us during childhood illness-who has been a major factor in our spiritual and moral as well as physical growth-who for long years served faithfully as a civic leader, being prominent in school board activities and Boy Scout work. As one of the major results of his untiring efforts in behalf of our community and sleepless nights in protection of our physical welfare, he is no longer with us. We can but in this manner remind him and the community that he is and shall remain ever in our thoughts and prayers. And so, in appreciation and recognition of your selfless devotion to your friends and mankind, and in a sincere wish for your speedy return to our midst, we dedicate our record of this year's activities at Dallas Iligh School to you, Dr. Wilkins, our life long leader and friend.
