' - : H 1 .H QB V' K . . , ,L s TNQ S ll f l lflf' THE CLASS PR OPHE C Y A class reumon supper for the Class of 1955 was held on Monday evemng at the new commun1ty bu1ld1ng here mn Concord e were all very happy to see each other and somewhat surpr1sed at what each IS now dolng Ten of the eleven members were present Barbara Moyse 1s ln Iceland as a Red CIDGS nurse and was unable to make 1t but we all send our best wrshes to her Joyce Austm too 1s a nurse She has started the task of gettmg funds to bu1ld a small hosp1tal here ln Concord As of now she hasn't got enough to put the roof on but she never seems to glve up hope Any contr1but1ons wlll be very much appreclated We were all glad to see Nancy Carpenter now Mrs Dale Brlggs ln such good health After all brmgmg up s1x chmldren 1sn t an easy Job for any one even 1f she IS full of energy llke Nancy always was Everyone was kept IH a very gay mood by Prescott Streeter and h1s Jokes If I remem ber rmghtly he was voted most corrucal of the class Now he 15 pres1dent of the Lunen burg O11 Company and nearly a m1ll1ona1re Captaln George Scott of the Unlted States A1r Force gave an excellent talk on The Complete Atom1c Home George has been on a secret atom1c project ln Antarct1ca Lunenburg Gllman and even South Lunenburg furn1shed the food for the supper It was cooked by the lad1es of the class and served by the men Eve rythmg went off f1ne unt11 Ronald Colby sp1lled a bowl of soup 1n Joyce s lap The soup was hot and Joyce d1d a lrttle dancmg around for a mmute Ronald Colby IS now the coach for the basketball team at Concord Hlgh School and from the reports I ve heard he 1s do1ng a very good Job of It but w1ll not admlt xt Of course we all know Just how shy Ronald always was anyway Evelyn Anms was there all dressed up f1t to k1ll She now owns the Anms Beauty and Dress Shoppe rn Boston Joan Ramsdell 1s now a teacher of the f1rst grade 1n Burlmgton She always sa1d she wouldn't teach anyone who knows more than she does She lurely chooses the r1ght grade level Anme Wr1ght who was voted the most shy g1rl of the class would now wmn as the most popular She had to glve up teachmg because she couldn t keep up wxth her dates I thlnk she made the r1ght choxce Dav1d Thomas gave a short talk for the men on ' How to Get Along W1th Your Wlfe Dave you surprmsed all of us To make the evemng complete a short speech was g1ven by Mr Smmpson our class advrser 17 W . . . ,, . . . .
