Another musical organization at Collins High Schoolis the Girls Glee Club. Those thirty girls, under the direction of Mrs. Charlotte Cole spend the seventh period each day learning the funda- mentals of harmony and also practicing songs, both old and new. The accompanist for the club is Audrey Eigenbrod. Only one requirement for membership exists, and that is to have a love for music. This helps the girls to appreciate the music of the past as well as the present. Manyof the girls are in the A Cappella Choir and local church choirs. Others participated in the talent show, Christmas programs and the Talent Search of WOAY-TV. The outstanding activity of the group is their annual spring dance to which guests are invited.
