Charles is one of the more studious boys in the class5 he always has time for fun and studying. Ever since he was our first class president, he has shown us that he is a capable leader. He is active in sports and has been for the past two years especially. He has shown his dramatic ability in the junior and senior plays and the operetta Tulip Time.', His ambition is to become a lawyer, and because of his talented gift of gab we are sure he will succeed. ln debating ana' in sports his opponent is a goner. Our first impression of Flem is that she is very quiet and bashful, but just get her started telling jokes. Life would be sort of dreary without Flem in our class. Congenial, earnest, and efficient in anything one calls upon her to do can best describe Flem. She is also very studious and likes French very much. When Fisher started we thought him to be rather bashfulg but as time went on we found that he was exactly the opposite. She is kind, loving, and ready to lend a helping hand when called upon. She is very much inter- ested in her studies and also has dramatic ability, as she took the part of Grace very well in our senior play. Garman is learning to drive she will be able to drive on the main road from Rockville to Lineboro some day. Friendly, earnest and talkative best describe Kling, who with her cheerful smile and jolly disposition, is usually the object of much torment- ing by the senior boys. Kling was the shortest one in the class until this summer when she really proved to us that her thyroid gland has not ceased functioning. In height she now exceeds Bensel by an inch. She acted the part of the faithful maid, Annie, in China Boyf' our junior play. Her greatest desire is to become a beautician and with the skill she now possesses, we know she will be successful.
